Dear Members,
This is my time to share and bring you updates on current and future
chamber activiities . As most of you know, the Lathrop District Chamber
of Commerce was founded in July of 1949. Today we celebrate seven
months in our very first location (in the Save-Mart Center) and with that
comes all the challenges of a start up business. However, we are
growing at a phenomenal rate.
We are well on our way in making progress in the City of Lathrop and the
neighboring cities as well. Recently, we were honored to have
Congressman Denise Cordoza come out and speak to the community. In
the near future we will have Senator Lois Wolk coming to speak and,
we also have San Joaquin Chair Leroy Ornellas Board of Supervisors speaking at our appreciation luncheon
to be held at Mikasa Japanese Bistro in a couple of weeks. Many of you did not know that July is
proclaimed the Lathrop District Chamber of Commerce month, and we have a lot of activities planned, so
check the website for the updates.
